Admission Policy

Derma Pro USA upholds the highest of industry standards. Although this industry is not regulated we have minimum requirements for entry to our program. Our company prides itself on integrity and we very carefully hand select each student who comes through our program with an entrance interview.

Derma Pro USA looks at a number of factors when selecting a student. Derma Pro USA believes that the qualities of mind, personality and skill necessary to satisfy its requirements are:

High Intelligence
Sound Judgment
An understanding of and sensitivity to human interaction
An understanding of skin science
Excellent hand eye coordination and a high level of dexterity

Derma Pro USA Students must have industry experience and a certification with a background in the science of skin.

Examples - estheticians, esthetic nurses, physicians, cosmetologists, microblading artists, laser technicians, medi spa owners (with esthetic backgrounds), acupuncturists, and massage therapists. In very limited circumstances some applications may be considered as having a highly exceptional skill set. In this case we will consider an exception to our policy.

Stamina is a requirement for this course and industry. You must be in good overall health and maintain a high level of professionalism. This profession requires good eyesight and a steady hand. The needle tip is held 1mm away from a clients eye and the slightest of ineptitude could result in severe injury.

Students will be asked to provide proof of their education documents. If you do not meet the requirements listed above we strongly encourage you take a course at a reputable training academy to obtain the required certificates and documents.

Please note:

1. Given that the number of applicants exceeds the number of class seats available, a record that satisfies basic entrance requirements does not guarantee admission.

2. Your spot is temporarily held in the next available seat in the city you have chosen, deposit must be paid within 48 hours to continue to hold.

3. As you may be aware, regulations differ from state to state and even county to county. As we are an international company, it would be difficult to be well versed with all regulations world wide. Having said that, we advise all students to contact their regulating body or board to ensure they are able to perform the treatment.
